Floral Thaalam “Kerala Theme” at Sheraton Grand
One thing we always rave about is how we mix the art in anything we create. We are big big fans of Kerala themed weddings. At the beginning of 2021 we designed a beach wedding at kovalam with pookolam on the mandap structure and we did not want to replicate the same so we came up with a life size thaalam , and then we found out it was pretty common practice for backdrop in kerala , then we turned to what we are best at “Flowers'' and here it is the “floral thaalam”. We believed this would turn into a masterpiece and it did.
We used Chrysanthemums and Roses, and this is also the best season to use chrysanthemums and it did turn out to be the best !
For those of you who dont know about Thaalam - The thaalam is a plate that has flowers, a brass lamp, a fan made of ivory and gold cloth and in some communities even a small bowl of Adenanthera Pavonina seeds which is supposed to signify luck.
